Producer Shekhar Kapur enlisted two directors, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Jeff Zimbalist to capture the essence of Bollywood in this documentary. A mash-up of several elements that makes for a Bollywood film including the dance and song routine along with 101 history of India and brief interviews with some of its stars fails on many levels because it turns off those who love Bollywood while turning off those who are not familiar with it. There's more to Bollywood than the over-the-top visuals that are used.
