Fair Game

The versatile American director Doug Liman makes the case for Valerie Plame and her husband Joe Wilson who became the target of the Bush administration that caused for a world wide scandal. Everybody has heard about Valerie Plame but nobody knows the truth because the media obscured the truth. Liman sets the record straight with this realistic drama about a real spy who saw her career destroyed and her marriage threatened after her outspoken husband attacked the Bush administration for forging intelligence to invade Iraq. It's an outrageous tale of government corruption at the highest levels that set to destroy anybody who tried to prevent them from their objective. Naomi Watts and Sean Penn give their support to Plame and Wilson by doing them justice with solid performances. YRCinema's coverage of films at the 63rd Festival de Cannes.
