Book of Eli

The Hughes brothers first feature in decade since "From Hell" is quite a mess. The post-apocalyptic tale about a loner who's protecting the last bible that seems to be coveted by everybody including a powerful gangster. It's clearly inspired by other films like it, specially the Mad Max trilogy but brings nothing new we haven't seen before. Denzel Washington and Gary Oldman cashing on their names. YRCinema's coverage of films on DVD.
