Our Life

Italian writer and director Daniele Luchetti returns with a profound drama about a family in contemporary Italy. At the center of the story is Claudio who's happily married with two children with a loving family. When tragedy strikes Claudio sets out to secure a safe future for his family even if it means to break the law. Luchetti has his heart at the right place which is the family at the core while political issues such as illegal immigration and employment are present. Elio Germano is the heart and soul of the film with a phenomenal performance that's flawless. The talented cast includes Isabella Ragonese, Raoul Bova and Stefania Montorsi amongst others. Luchetti's film is a human drama at its best. YRCinema's coverage of films at the 63rd Festival de Cannes.
