Black Heaven

French writer and director Gilles Marchand took on cyber crimes in this thriller. A young men finds a cell phone belonging to a beautiful girl and gets lured into a dark and twisted site where nothing is as it seems. Marchand and co-writer Dominik Moll had interesting ideas that could have gone further but shortchanged for mere genre effects which derails the film. They had clearly the site "Second Life" and could have explored better. The talented cast includes Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet, Louise Bourgoin and Melvil Poupaud who can't ultimately save the film.
