Pina

German auteur Wim Wenders delivers his best film in years with another documentary in dazzling 3D. A visual tribute to the legendary dancer and choreographer Pina Baush through her work and her dance group. Wenders along with fellow German auteur Werner Herzog prove that 3D can be breathtaking if used properly as he does here. A moving homage to the late dancer who passed away too early along with mind-blowing dances captured by her dancers in her city of Wuppertal makes this stunning documentary a treat for the senses beyond the eyes and ears. 1001-Films coverage of the 64th Festival de Cannes.
