
Egyptian writer and director Yousry Nasrallah explores the aftermath of the Battle of the Camel on Tahir Square that became the beginning of the Arab spring revolution. A horseman who participated on behalf of the government in the battle suffers the consequences when he and his family are ostracized which gets the attention of a secular woman who tries to help but her intentions are questioned. Nasrallah shows that change takes time and the real work begins after the revolution. He provides a glimpse on what goes on in Egypt in the aftermath which continues to play out more than a year later. Menna Shalabi, Bassem Samra and Nahed El Sebaï give solid performances. 1001 Films' coverage of
