I, Anna
British writer and director Barnaby Southcombe made his feature debut with this atmospheric thriller. A detective falls for a beautiful and mysterious woman who might be involved in a murder case he's investigating. Southcombe shows promise with his debut that's complex and character driven. Legendary British actress Charlotte Rampling gives another memorable performance as the lonely and elegant woman in her son's feature debut. The solid supporting cast includes Gabriel Byrne, Hayley Atwell, Eddie Marsan and former Bond girl Honor Blackman in a cameo. 1001 Films' coverage of the 65th Festival de Cannes.
