Me and You
Legendary Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci returns after a decade and his first Italian film in 30 years with this coming of age of film. A teenager hides in the basement of his apartment in order to avoid a school trip and his parents but his plans are foiled when his step-sister shows up. Based on the novel by Niccolò Ammaniti, Bertolucci shows his masterful skills to make a compelling film. While the film might seem a minor effort in a illustrious career, it's a welcome return by one of the great masters of cinema. 1001 Films' coverage of the 65th Festival de Cannes.
