Children of Sarajevo
Bosnian writer and director Aida Begic returns with her second feature exploring the ghosts of war on the children without parents. A young woman's sole purpose is to control her troubled teenage brother. Begic focuses on the psychological damage on a generation that grew up after the war. Marija Pikic and Ismir Gagula give solid performances as the siblings haunted by their past coping with the present. 1001 Films' coverage of the 65th Festival de Cannes.
