Arbitrage
Writer and director Nicholas Jarecki made his feature debut with this riveting thriller following his brothers Eugene and Andrew. A billionaire on the verge of financial ruin commits an error that may cost him his family as well. Jarecki made an effective film that's in tune with the times and makes a great impression in his debut by handling a complex script and characters. Richard Gere stars with another terrific performance along with a stellar supporting cast that includes Susan Sarandon, Tim Roth, Brit Marling, Nate Parker and Laetitia Casta amongst others. 1001 Films' coverage of the 65th Festival de Cannes.
