A Somewhat Gentle Man
Norwegian director Hans Petter Moland serves a heavy dose of Scandinavian humor with this dark comedy. After being released from prison, a man is tempted by his former colleagues to seek revenge while he tries to connect with his estranged son. Moland blends gritty realism with grotesque and deadpan comedy that's acquired taste. Swedish actor Stellan SkarsgÄrd stars with a solid performance along with a fine supporting cast. 1001 Films' coverage of films on DVD.
